Half British, Half Japanese but 100% Australian has been the mantra of the Sakakibara Family. Saya, an Olympic BMX rider has split her time between Australia and Japan in her younger days and now splits her time between Australia and Europe as she represents Australia on the World Championship Circuit. She debuted at Olympic Level for Australia at Tokyo 2020.

Saya has long term partnerships with Red Bull, GWM, 6D Helmets, Schwable Tyres, Oakley and an array of other supporting partners.

At the 2024 Paris Olympics, Saya won a Gold Medal and captivated the world with her story of resilience and perseverance. She won 7 from 7 of her races on the World’s biggest stage, when it mattered most.
